I have a STRONG inkling that >90% of you have a hormone IMBALANCE that simply needs correcting. Propecia is an ANTI-ANDROGEN. Think about that for a second. The potential for endocrine disruption is massive. Taking Propecia and then trying herbal remedies is like taking steroids, coming off cold turkey then taking fucking Tribilus for post-cycle therapy. It’s asinine and what I see here time and time again from members. “Oh, I’ll just take Tribilus, eat healthy and I’ll hopefully be recovered in a year’s time.” That’s not going to work.
What you need to do is to get a full hormone panel. Try running a SERM like Toremifene. AI’s if your estrogen is high. Thyroid hormone is your hypothyroid. Cortisol if you test positive for adrenal insufficiency. I am a strong believer that the vast majority of so called “post-finasteride sufferers” have a simply hormone imbalance that when corrected will render the patient 100% recovered.
Now for the ~10% who are non-responders to testosterone, thryoid, etc. therapy, now you guys are the ones who are truly fucked. You most likely have a defunction at the receptor level. Similar to androgen insensitivity syndrome. Propecia may have the capability to induce this. Now if you fall into this category I URGE you to go see an endocrinologist, have a skin fibroblast sample taken and have it tested for responsiveness to various androgens(T, DHT, etc. ). I have not seen one guy do this and post their results. Why? I have no idea.
