Yellow Card database - Brits, report your symptoms!

Hi all,

This is a post for our British patients.

I’ve been doing some research for an article I’m writing, and digging through adverse reaction databases today. Although FAERS (US) and EMA (EU) have reports in the high thousands (FAERS has over 18,000), the Yellow Card database only has 1850 reports. It is incredibly important for patients to self-report in the absence of appropriate clinical reporting. This is critical, as regulatory action is driven by frontline reporting.

If you have not yet done so, please, report your symptoms through the Yellow Card website. This is particularly important if you have ever felt suicidal, as more serious reports will trigger reviews from regulatory bodies, which is where action begins.

Thanks,
Mitch
