Write to the FDA Commissioner(Margaret Hamburg)

I fully intend on starting a letter to this women. Everyday, I think about this issue, and I also think about the lack of effort Merck and the FDA has put into assisting us out.

This woman is the FDA Commissioner and she must know the amount of pain we are going through. Just maybe, some action will be put into place. The research study should also spark a great deal of attention.

Margaret, if you are reading this, please take us seriously. Some of us have been through a horror show over the last decade because no action has been done. Enough is enough, and action must take place. We need help, plain and simple.

As I have responded to other threads like this, if you want to write to anyone - news consortium, the fda, a particular researcher - then please post a letter YOU THE POSTER writes and we will help you finish it if you want to send such a letter. If you are the one motivated to take this action, then do it! Do not just post for one of the other members to do what you wish to do.

You should Write to her. Although, I am skeptical that any of these people would give you any thing more than a canned response. They usually take the conservative repsonse to situations like this. We need a clinical study to prove what this drug does to a man. In my opinion, this is the key to everything for us. It will help with medical community awarness, finding a cure, class action suit, etc.

Merck and the fda are going to put this off for aslong as they can…we all know this though. We need to be smarter in our tactix, i dont have anything yet but im still thinking.

Try something like printing off 10000 peices of paper saying “propecia is poison, please research the effects” and dropping the from a plane over manhatten or something

Do you wanna get publicity or do you wanna get fobbed off…you know what i mean

Man i wish i was in north america so i could team up with some of you guys and attempt to blow this thing open.

has anyone found her mail address?
I just sent 2 mails to merck.
One to thier Canada office, and the other to their US office.
I sent one to the FDA already but I’d like to send one to Margaret as well.

I’m going to send her an e-mail… You can find her e-mail from the main FDA site through a number of links then search employees with her name.
