Would you guys recommend I take testosterone cream alongside clomid?

Before going in, I want to say I’ve never taken finasteride. My drug was arimistane, which is marketed as an aromatase inhibitor, but some websites selling it brag about its DHT blocking abilities. Therefore, I believe it caused “PFS” and I have the same symptoms you all do (physical and mental)

Now, a doctor offered me a script for test cream. I’ve taken clomid 12.5 mg ED and it brought my test to 1,110. I felt more energetic, but I felt like a PMSing animal. Erections were certainly better, and libido was modestly improved. I’m ashamed to admit I cried silently while listening to the Toy Story 2 soundtrack from the emotional sides :joy:

Now, I came off clomid but feel tired and lethargic. It’s not E2 related as its at 25. Naturally, test is at 700. I’m thinking of going back on clomid at 12.5g eod with test cream to boost DHT every day at 25 mg.

Has anyone taken test cream and care to steer me in any direction?

Thanks!

As someone who wants to be a mid level practitioner in HRT therapy, and not even looking at the content in your post, my answer is no to your title. Using them together would be counter productive on what you’re trying to do with the clomid. It’s either one or the other.

@gents93 Well my high level doctor who works at a HRT clinic (don’t know if source talk is banned here) administered that protocol.

The point of the cream is to convert to DHT, not raise total test.

oh i thought you were trying to get a restart on your HTPA. either way it’s still going to be pretty suppressive i don’t think you’ll achieve as high T levels this time. for the reason that you’re using it i don’t think it’s a bad idea to atleast try

I see. Yeah I don’t really need an HPTA restart considering my T was high to begin with. The Clomid was given to me to see if it would subjectively help my symptoms (it did).

The clinic I’m working with has seen PFS patients. From talks with their Dr’s, they give them TRT if they’re hypogonadic. This usually helps out because it at least gets them functioning.

while i don’t think you and i have the same issue i’m still very interested in your case and i’m happy that clomid was able to help you out. keep me updated on your trial run with t cream and clomid. ask them to do 12.5mg every day

My case is extremely shrouded in confusion because arimistane is a supposed AI, but I’ve seen its a DHT blocker as well. Not sure if I have your problem (AI problem) or DHT blocker problem. People online have claimed gyno from arimistane though, just like in Fin.

Wishing us all the best and relief.

i’ve seen your posts before on excelmale believe me it’s interesting and probably perplexed your providers. i’ve personally taken arimistane before i’m high doses and only side i noticed was sore joints, which went away upon cessation. other than that, i felt completely normal

I had one provider pull out a bipolar disorder questionnaire on me haha… Did you take arimistane in conjunction with arimidex or separately?

i took solely arimistane when i was 19, about 50- 75mg a day. i remember vividly, i was studying at the library and my elbows were hurting and i was like i think it’s time i stop this AI.
