wormwood

I experienced at least two weeks where myself and another forum member were near 100%. Since we are all suffering from the same thing, I don’t see any reason why others wouldn’t have the same result

What is even more interesting than the recovery itself is pondering the mechanism that got us recovered and why it wouldn’t hold. I actually started dating again and really thinking about my future. It was absolutely fantastic.

At the end of the 2 week recovery, we started feeling extreme drowsy/fatigued feelings and had to stop taking the wormwood. Also the improvements started to fall off. Since then I have not been able to duplicate the results.

Joetz, I’m assuming you turned to wormwood to effect some sort of change in what you percieve to be a compromised liver ?

I think something is seriously wrong with our livers. I have read that liver function is essential to providing vitamin D to the body. The liver and kidneys change vitamin D to an active form, so maybe the low vitamin D levels we all have are a result of a liver malfunction.

Just to clarify, I took the wormwood tincture, which is a lot more powerful than the pills you can buy.
For a solid two week period, I had better sleep, better mental clarity, better sensation, better libido. It basically slayed every single aspect of this condition.

Wormwood is said to be beneficial for the digestive system, promoting liver function and the release of digestive juices. Why this would fully reverse PFS for at least 2 weeks is something that I think deserves further investigation. The cure might not be that far away from our grasp

Joetz, how does wormwood tincture differ from absinthe?

I don’t know. I think it’s very similar.

joe, I took the Now brands fresh green & black walnut wormood complex. I took a coulple of bottles of the stuff and didn’t notice much of anything. What brand of this stuff did you take?

I took the Herb Pharm brand. It’s just wormwood, not mixed with anything.

I’ve read in many places that the wormwood in absinthe is neurotoxic. It seems to have a track record of inducing abnormal behavior - beyond that of alcohol. Van gough cut off his ear as a result of consuming absinthe, for example. Perhaps it’s effects are not limited to the digestive system.

I have read a lot of contradictory things. Some say it’s a crock that there are side effects, other sources are a little more uncertain

Come to think of it, at the very very end of my 2 week period of near 100% recovery, I did start to experience drowsiness and fatigue. On the last weekend I slept something like 14 hours and that was when it was losing its effectiveness and I quit taking it. Since then I have not been able to experience recovery from it, but the sleepy feelings are gone.

You really got me thinking, maybe the neurological effects of wormwood were making me feel better and not the parasite killing/digestive properties. Very interesting…

Now the stupid german understand that wormwood is wermut :bulb:

Absinthe (Thujone) I remeber, in the past i was a big fan of it. Made me very horny…

Thujone is a ketone and a monoterpene that occurs naturally in two diastereomeric forms: (−)-α-thujone and (+)-β-thujone.[1][2] It has a menthol odor. Even though it is best known as a chemical compound in the spirit absinthe, recent tests show absinthe contains only small quantities of thujone, and it may or may not be responsible for absinthe’s reported psychedelic effects. Thujone acts on GABA and 5-HT3 receptors[3] in the brain. In many countries the amount of thujone allowed in food or drink products is regulated.

Maria (accutane sufferer) in an email to me a while ago said that Wormwood tincture gave her a temporary full recovery. Wormwood is said to be nature’s richest source of Thujone…

I bought pure Wormwood tincture at Wholefoods to treat possible parasites. It was not mixed with Black Walnut or anything else. I immediately felt better after my first dose. It oxygenates the blood which may be what caused the quick response. Anyway, it made me feel so good so I kept taking it 3 times/day, but 2-3 times the recommended amount. It made me have the deepest sleep and I would wake up fully refreshed. ]After about three weeks on the stuff my sensation returned, my sex drive came back, my brain-genital connection returned, emotions came back, motivation came back, cognition came back. Anyway, I got a bit scared because simultaneously it made me somewhat drowsy. I don’t know if that was a die off or if it was something else. So, when I ran out of the bottle I stopped taking it. During maybe a week the progress regressed and I went back to “normal.”

Brainbug:
Here my selftest with absinthe 2cl mixes with 2cl water, before sleep.
Anyway, I´m dreaming a lot since a few weeks even without this.
But this time a had a long very intesiv dream about XXX Sleeped very good and long and bit better this morning.

I do not think this is a cure and not acting on the root of the Problem. But a possible help in smal dosages.

YES! You got it!

But, the positiv effects seems to go away… for some…

Ok, found something:

Anyone else try this yet?

Hey Guys, please read this link I posted above, this explains a lot, event that there are wormwood, that helps an some not.

This does not make sense. It (and other research) states that Thujone inhibits GABA-a. This is conter-productive of what we would want, but for some reason 2 people have had 2 weeks recoveries on it.

Does not make sense. Only other explanation would be its anti-pathogen characteristics.

I just completed my first week of the wormwood.cloves.blackwalnut mix and I feel my best since june last year when everything started.

i must say that i too have felt better while drinking a cocktail of wormwood and black walnut for stretches … it is perhaps worth a try for others

It totly makes sence, Keep in mind that the body always trys to adjust levels. When you inhibit a rezeptor It can become less sensitv after a time but before the rezeporlevel will be adjusted. So the cells become more sensitiv, Why do you thing, a drug like Naltrexon what is pure Opioidantagonist makes some people feel better? The cells will adadjust the levels of the rezeptors, to get a stable gene produkt. Same with finasteride, lower DHT and the body will adjust the rezeptorlevels.
Why do you think, some people feel weird after a few weeks on it and the effects wores off? there are many dif. drugs that looses the efect cause of that. Other dont. The GABA A rezeptors are very very imortant and are also controled by CAR and androstane, like 3a-diol-g High levels of 3a-diol-g lead to a loss of libido. They are strongly dependet on androgens.

Anyway there are many subtypes of GABA a rezeptors. A agonist will lead to a downregulation, but this is alwas depending on the modulator. Low T will cause higher DHT. why? because the cells try to get a stable level. Same for the final and coactivators of GABA A. This is why some people here, who took fin again also migth have a brief recovery.
