Working out -- time of day -- can it suppress testosterone levels?

I might be onto something or I might be crazy, but follow me here…

I’ve noticed that days after I work out, I feel worse than usual.
I always work out late at night… usually around 9 or 10pm.
Working out boosts testosterone.
Testosterone production mostly happens while you sleep

MAYBE, boosting testosterone before sleep prevents the body from producing as much testosterone as it would have… because serum levels are already high. Maybe it would be better to work out in the morning, when the body clock naturally “expects” a T spike.

A normal guy wouldn’t notice this effect because his hormones (or hormone receptors) are at 100%. But for someone with residual side effects from Finasteride… you get problems.

Has anyone else noticed this effect?

This effect is well studied, you can read about it in bodybuilding forums. It has nothing to do (directly) with T but with too high cortisol levels. Buy Omega 3 and Phosphatidyl Serine and take plenty and you will notice change.

Working out after 8 is bad for you. Early in the morning is not much better.

Just curious what is Phosphatidyl Serine and what is it used for.

PS main function is to improve the function of the brain cells. It improves concetration, memory and motivation.

It is also a cortisol suppressant and for that reason is popular with weight lifters.

It also stimulates dopamine production and improves the mood and decreases appetite.

Pretty good stuff, no known alergic reactions.

Thanks. Is is a prescription or a supplement?

OTC supplement, yes
