Hello everyone, I started to take the pills about 4-5 years ago. No side effects at all up until 3 year ago that I got a discoloration in my stomach and indentation next to my liver. I got concerned and got several ultrasound and x rays done. Everything came back ok, except for the high liver levels. At the time I didnt think the pill was causing this so I never stopped taking it.
The real problem came about a year ago. I was eating at a restaurant and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to pass out and I got anxiety. I have never in my life had anxiety and It felt horrible. My anxiety was on and off for the last year, again never thinking the pill caused it. My check up a month ago came back again with high liver levels and I really got concerned. I told my doctor that I would stop taking the pill and I would get re-tested in a month. Its been 2 weeks since I stopped taking the pills and all of a suddent I have been getting really light-headed all the time, almost like if I am spaced out. I started to do research on the pills and i have stumble on this site where just about everyone has the same side effects that I have. I would like to know if these side effects could take a long time to go away or does it depend on the individual.

It’s early days for you yet, only 2 weeks… you may find yourself feeling much better in the coming months, however everyone’s different and nobody can say for sure. You should get bloodtests per the list in the FAQ at top of site to see what the drug has done to your body hormonally.

Yea, I think what has helped me out is that I have always been very athletic and worked out daily (up into 6 months ago) Physically and mentally I have been strong and I think that gave me a bit of an edge. However, eversince I found that all these side effects are from the pill they mentally pushed me down. I am trying to be strong and make sure that I dont start to get mentally freaked out.

I should also say, that i check the extreme anxiety box, but what i actually had was mild anxiety. That is what bothered me the most. I have never been scared of anything and all of a sudden I was scared to drive home because I might start chocking with no reason and stuff like that. I am sure once the drug is fully out of my system I will be back to normal.
