Why is sleep so relevant?

next month will mark my 3rd year with PFS - not really the most exciting anniversary i’ll admit but i am curious if anyone else is in a similar boat this far in…

i have made serious improvements even from year 2-3 but there is so much still so wrong. One thing I wanted to discuss: sleep and nocturnal erections. Last night for example, I woke up at least 3-4 times in the middle of the night and every time I woke up with an erection (albeit my typical thinned out, bent fucked up fin dick) except for the final time where I actually got out of bed. It was soft and lifeless like it sometimes is when I awake.

Is this pretty much the PFS trademark at this point? why does the sleep cycle i wake up in seem to have such a sporadic effect? does anyone else have this kind of consistency? This disease is so fucking cruel - it likes to dangle normalcy in front of your face every once in awhile just to fuck you up mentally.
