Who else has this? Top half of penis has narrowed and numbed

I’m curious which others have this symptom. It’s taken a few years now but it seems my penis has finally devolved into feeling completely normal at the base (from abdomen to 50% up the shaft), then it seems to lose structure and get skinnier, as if there is now blood flow or structure to the second half of the penis anymore. This is also the area that is the most numb, like I have a hard time getting any real stimulation from the last half of my penis. Sometimes when coming out of the shower, the above effect will be very pronounced. Like the base of the penis is large and has girth and then the last 50% is just kind of weightless mass and very skinny. The head of my penis rarely fills with blood like it used to.

Does anyone else have this? Does it have a medical name?

When talking to Dr. Goldstein over the phone he asked about this very specific thing. I was surprised because I knew exactly what he was talking about, and figured this must be something that everyone has.

What is the insight here? Is this where the receptors have essentially been damaged/overexpressed? Is this where the drug gets stored and locked into place? Or is there a blockage of blood flow from prostatitis or something else? If feel like this could be a clue here as this symptom is fairly specific and clearly shows that whatever controls this part of the penis has been turned off.

No wonder why my libido is completely gone.

I present a symptom that has no one, the tip of my penis is constantly wet with something strange that I do not know what it is. My penis is narrow, light as if it were empty inside and completely insensitive. Libido killed.

@Demon

you have a wet feeling at tip of penis? Does it feel like you have it all throughtout the day (70 percent of time) ? pain in pubic , groin area?

Yes my friend you also?

I have exactly the same symptoms, which appeared 1 month after I stopped Finasteride.
I guess there are several possible explanations:

  1. some kind of Peyronie (although atypical, with no visible plaque) that blocks the normal blood flow from proximal part to distal part (the top half).
  2. some kind of atrophy of the distal part.
  3. some kind of contracture related to pelvic muscles spasms.

One great Peyronie expert told me it cannot be Peyronie. Another Peyronie expert told me it must be Peyronie. Nobody has a clue…
But for sure there is something blocking the normal blood flow.

I have this too. I too thought it may have been Peyronies, but I’ve had times where erectile function returned to normal and the parts of the penis which regularly don’t become firm and full with blood, such as the glans, do become full. I believe it’s hormonal, whereby certain erectile tissue in the penis does not become engorged with blood, thus causing a curve. So essentially due to blood being filled in one part of the penis (say the bottom) but not the top, it causes the penis to curve upwards (in this example).

I think @orthogs is correct.

My experience is that I had some nocturnal erections which were hard, curved and thin. If I had only had erections like those, then I would believe that my penis had changed permanently.

Happily that has not been the case for me.
