what type of doctor for adrenal issues?

4 months after quitting, I experienced brain fog and weakness for the first time. Just for 5 days, but that sucked. Now, 3 months later, I’ve felt weak and hungover for a few days and I am getting scared. I talked to my GP about these issues and she said that endocrinologists do not treat these problems, and that therefore I had to go to some alternative medicine center. I would like to avoid these alternative doctors because my insurance plan wouldn’t cover the expense.

Many people here had a cortisol test (saliva test) and other adrenal tests. What type of doctor performs these tests?

D.O doctor would…Just see Dr. Crisler he has the most experiencing treating finasteride patients.

A lot of us have symptoms of Fibromyaligia/CFS. The drug simply broken down our systems. That’s why alot of has have normal to high testosterone but is resistant to it and thus we have erectile dysfunction. Buy a book on fibromyalgia…I have and learned a great deal about the disease, and the more I read it and see posts on this board, the more and more it matches.

U might be on to something, all symptoms match. The most intriguing part is that the latest treatment for this disease is ghb, this is what about a dozen guys heree cured themselves with.

Interesting but… do you mind answering my question too? Do I have to an alternative doctor for adrenal issues, or are there alternatives?

My blood tests match someone who is hypothyroid…Im getting a FULL thyroid panel in 2 weeks which include Reverse T3 and other things. This is very important because I may need T3 meds to get better.

My latest testosterone level is 710 and I still have ED, there are other conditions underlying.

As I stated before I’ve read a book on Fibromyalgia/CFS and know every medication doctors could use to help you get better along with minerals and vitamins.

I’m doing my best to get better, I feel like I will within the next 6-8 months.

To answer your question, yes you need to seek a qualified doctor who has experience in treating Fibromyaliga or CFS(Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). You are wasting your time if you are NOT.

Do as you please, but I’m seeing Dr. Crisler. He is my #1 man and he is trying to help me.

Whoeever you choose to treat you is up to you. I been with this condition for 8 years and I want to get better.

Good Luck,
