Is nobody going to address the fact the Forum was unavailable for 3 days (in the USA, at least.).?
I worried that we’d given up against the Reddit monster. I’ve never used that, and won’t.

You are not alone in that opinion. Reddit is inferior The functions on here in terms of searching, material, user journeys, viewpoints, etc etc is far superior. Thankfully it at least hasent been closed down.
Ultimately, the thing that needs to happen is that we connect with as many people as possible. In addition communities on Reddit were taking ownership of the narrative.
Plenty of people here will have looked at places online that dismissed fears of side effects long and short term. This fundamentally makes it harder for the real situation to be communicated, not only do we have to get the story out there, we have to push back against an idea that has taken root and is reinforced daily by people dismissing the idea of side effects and then also the stories of patients who have been left with them.
So, that’s why Reddit is important. We can be in a position to get the message out there, counter misinformation and also communicate with more people where they already are.
The big thing to do, is use the forum if you want to. There’s nothing stopping you from using this place and Reddit or just one or the other.

Thanks dude, I must admit I have not been on here much at all for quite a while.
I don’t have much to report, I’m mostly feeling a lot better than a few years ago. Still massively sleep deprived, but everything else isn’t so bad.
I hope you (and every other of the guys I’ve spoken to on here) are doing well, I know it’s quiet on here, but anyone reading this who hasn’t posted in a while (or ever) let us all know you’re out there and share a little solidarity with the team if you can.
I wonder how much of this place is all happening in private messages sometimes. Hopefully we’ll get some check ins from familiar names.
I still check in here sometime several times a day. Never been on Reddit and never will be. It is sad to see activity here slow to a crawl, but that doesn’t mean that when the day comes something good is reported, it could be here first! We just need to keep this place alive. I need to post an update on my personal thread. I’ll try to do that soon. Jim
Not to advocate for one thing over another, but the propeciahelp Reddit is the same admin team, same aims, some of the same people.
It’s not automatically a terrible idea if you want to make contact with some other people.
Reddit seems less good at having long running conversations - it’s why I personally prefer the forum setup. But, it might be worth having a look anyway.
