Right, you are all probably thinking what a silly question. Well let me make it clear. Basically whenever i wake up i have no erections instantly, however providing im relaxed my penis would become erect (not as hard as it used to be but still) shortly after. And it can stay up for say 10 mins or more. When i had first quit finesteride, my penis would just stay flacid comletely in the mornings. So could i count this as a morning erection? It might not be instant upon waking but it still happens… hopefully this is a good sign…
Morning erections are nocturnal erections which remain hard upon waking up, and happen without your conscious involvement.
What you are describing is you consciously trying to give yourself an erection AFTER waking. This is completely different.
Thanks Mew for your reply. But can i take having these erections (though not instant) in the mornings a good sign in any way? I dont think about having them, they just appear shortly after.
In the 10 months of quitting Fin id say i’ve had about 3 or 4 upon waking like i used to… the most memorable being a few months ago… when i had an actual dream of watching porn straight before i woke and i was very hard! The night before i was actually hornier then usual, so waking up like this made feel i was cured in a way, which was not really the case, it was just a one off really. I also woke up with one about a week ago.
I should really take these as a positive sign, though they are no way as consistent as id like.
