Surely I’m getting ahead of myself but I’m just curious. Wouldn’t this have a chance of doing some other fucked up shit to us? creating other types of diseases?
yes, the technology is getting better and more precise for therapeutic targets but there are cons that you can easily look up
why u even bother when u will never use CRISPR in ur life.
The receptors are turned “off” most likely, like in some cancers
The only “here and now” treatment might be a demethylating agent
I don’t have other ideas for reversing this, and no one else has as u can clearly see…
you have no idea if it’s even a methylation issue. nor if it’s hyper or hypomethylated. you’re literally swinging a bat in the pitch black darkness with a 90 mph fast ball coming your way. not saying don’t try it, your confident talk needs to be toned down a bit because you truly don’t know what’s going on until we have evidence
i agree with u 100% ur right
but what would u suggest as a treatment
i read about ur post regarding https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAPK/ERK_pathway
i think ur on the same side as me
im not very into this idea,my friend has read books and articles regarding epigenetics and he knows this stuff better
we both agree that its a shot in the dark but i don’t see any other option
in this article it says there have been gene expression alterations (on/off) after citalopram use,and these alterations explain the persistent problem
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6083487/
my friend doesnt have pfs/pssd but has same symptoms from exogenous testosterone as u have from an AI,so u have a lot in common.
PM me if u wanna talk and exchange experience and knowledge with him
regards
i want to know more about your buddy. if you can answer a few questions for me:
has he ever taken any anti androgen before using testosterone?
at what point did he start experiencing side effects? on the testosterone or when he came off?
what treatments has he tried and what were there outcomes?
he hasn’t taken anti androgen
he experienced side effects from the first dose, but he wasn’t aware it was because of that, with every next injection he got progressively worse
he tried more than 20+ drugs mb
hormonal:hcg,clomid,arimidex,peptides
other:benzos,alcohol,tramadol,street drugs etc…
he had 0 reaction to every of these drugs,mb only side effects
could it be that our receptors are just overheated? and now fucked ? when thats the case then its irreversible i guess …,
what’s the point of being so pessimistic when there’s been numerous people that are either recovered, or recover just enough to live normal lives?
which people do you mean ?
im guessing that when it comes to the recovery stories, you dont believe in any of them
not really tbh because it does not make sense. more sense makes this theory : hormonal system adapts a bit to the new conditions , thats why we feel better than in the beginning of the crash. but after 1 year post fin i highly doubt that there is much change in the next years. what should change when we are realistic ?
thats why we need to fund the studies. our body cant heal without help
you are debating mechanisms. im just talking about functionality wise.
i could live with the latter until we find something that resolves the problem
