What are some of the safer supplements to try?

I’m interested in trying some supplements. Some that help some people seem to have the potential to backfire and make things worse for others (tribulus and zinc come to mind). What are some supplements where the worst case scenario is that nothing happens, more-or-less?

Water, my friend. Only supplement without risks is water.
My advice is to avoid supplements. My situation is brutally worsened after supplements.
