Hi, I am on propecia for just one week but after I read many thread in this forum i decided to stop it but I am now searching for Finasteride alternatives, DO someone know other drugs that do not have thes side effects?

drugs don’t have side effects, they only have effects, tons of them. Some drugs like minoxidil worked for blood pressure and a “side effect” was that they grew hair. or you could say they grew hair and a “side effect” is that they lower blood pressure.
Modern pharmacuticals are shotguns that hit a bunch of your bodies systems. Drugs or supplements without “side effects” are snake oil that do nothing at all. Take a sugar pill if you feel the need to take something.
I’ve been very interested in herbs/natural supplements for years, Ive taken tons of them for tons of different things, Ive spend hundreds of hours reading about them, but after all that I realize than most if not all of them do almost nothing.
Unfortunatly our folicles are sensitive to the very chemicals that make us sexually potent men. I hate to be “that guy” but if you want to stay a man then destroying DHT is a bad idea. The guys out there with perfect hairlines have just as much DHT as you, but thier follicles arent bothered by it.
Go to the hairloss forum. There are certain better shampoos to use, which slow down the process by keeping your hair more healthy and not drying it out I guess. Like my brother said he’s read many times to stay away from laural sulfates, a common ingredient in most shampoos, or sumthin. There is also Saw Palmetto, which I have heard works according to clinical studies say it works a bit, and there are some topical solutions which I guess work a bit, i.e. like the newer foam which is much easier to apply.
But I haven’t been trying anything, as I am too worried about this problem. I don’t even care about hair anymore! Although am starting to use better shampoo.
I’ll just pay for hair transplants. Its easy now, and inexpensive.
It’s so unfair isn’t it. 
Seeing that DHT plays a role in the sex drive and muscle development, wouldn’t the “natural” herbal medications out there which claim to lower DHT with no side effects, would in fact, have the same side effects?
If not, then its just not working, which would make sense, many people call all the herbal remidies a scam. Revivogen is topical and claims to block DHT directly on the scalp, so thats different, if it even works.
Thoughts?
I’d just like to remind you guys that this isn’t a hairloss forum.
We aren’t really interested in discussing hairloss topics here, there are plenty of dedicated forums out there for that. Hairloss is the least of people’s concerns around here.
Let me reiterate: This forum is for ex-Fin users who quit the drug and are having persistent side effects that have lasted months and years.
If you are still on the drug, having side effects and are planning on quitting, great. If the side effects resolve for you after you quit, even better.
But if they don’t, then this forum is for you.
