First of all, I would like to say thank you for this site. It’s good to know that I am not alone in my post-finasteride struggles.
However, I must admit that I’m somewhat perplexed that there isn’t a forum specifically dedicated to doctor reviews. I think people with our issues would find this incredibly helpful. I don’t think we’d run into liability issues. Plenty of websites review doctors, with both positive and negative reviews.
I, for one, have only visited one endocrinologist. While I don’t think she was awful, I don’t think she is someone I’d recommend that any male in my situation visit. When she learned that I suffered from depression, she pretty much immediately dismissed any claims I had regarding my problems with decreased sex drive. But I know my body and I know that I used to have a very strong libido, even when I was depressed.
So with these things said, what is the possibility of getting a forum started where we recommend or ill advise doctors?
And does anyone have a recommendation for a good doctor in Chicago? (I realize Dr. Crisler is not that far, but I don’t have the luxury of traveling.)
