The purpose of which is to take our proeblems public. If this situation is going to be resolved, we need to form a group that elects a govening board, holds semi annual conferences, and holds outreach programs. We need to tell those people closest to us about our suffering because it is those people who will believe us at face value. The more support we get, the better. People know people, and I’m sure we can get the support of doctors, lawyers, politicians, and media moguls. If not their support, then we can at least get their attention. I would ultimately like to file a class action lawsuit against Merck, the proceeds of which will be used to create an institution for the sole purpose of researching the effects of fin after users stop taking it. It’s a very ambitious goal, I know, but the first step is to organize ourselves into a cohesive unit. What are people’s thoughts?
IMO this has to happen sooner or later. It wont be easy but I think people need to know whats going on here and that Merck should be held responsible for what they have done to us.
Sure finasteride only has negative, permenent effects a small percentage of the population, but then Jack the Ripper only killed a small percentage of the population. Its not on. More and more doctors are getting on the “finasteride is poisoin” wagon and its only a matter of time before they start really kicking and screaming about this drug. I dont think we will have problems proving that finasteride did this to us, which from my experience with lawyers is the biggest hurdle.
This website is a huge step towards getting the word out and this is where it all starts.
