Been off fin for about 10 months now, and still very watery.
Some says they recovered after few months but I haven’t and was wondering if anyone who’s off of fin for more than 6 months, still have watery ejaculation.
What is still causing this? I have very high DHT (over the range)
Any recommends on which supp can help?
Probably prostate and seminal vesicle atrophy from Finasteride, and decreased seminal fluid production as a result.
If you look at the official literature for Proscar (5mg dose) the median recovery time for patients that had semen related side effects is about 1.5 years. Granted, the dose most of us took was around 20% that amount, it still shows there is a possibility for a very long term recovery. That is if you accept the literature as being grounded in some version of the truth.
Clearly its based on studies so there’s obviously truth so far as those studies are concerned.
My semen got worse over the first 9-12 months of cessation but has slowly improved since. Far from pre-fin though but decent enough for it not to be a major concern right now. Im coming towards the two year mark (March 2012).
Is that study for patients who didn’t take anything to recover therefore just naturally through time?
I read on one post that someone recovered possibly from taking vitD3. I’m not saying this has some effects nor it doesn’t, I don’t know. I was wondering if there’s something that could possibly give a push to recovery on this matter.
