Tell us your story, in your own words, about your usage and side effects experienced while on/off the drug.

I took dutasteride for only 2 weeks with a dosage increase in the last 3-4 days after the onset of overt brain fog. Silly decision. I did this because I believed a dude on one of the forums who told me that fog is due to the increase in DHT and that you need to increase the dosage, that this is the body’s resistance. Trying to find information on Google about brain fog while taking 5a inhibitors in Russian, I then found nothing. I began to doubt whether to continue or stop taking the drug immediately. By the end of the second week, I quit as I could no longer tolerate the brain fog that I had 3 hours after taking dutasteride each time. I had ED, but only for a few days. All side effects disappeared in 1-2 weeks. But after 3 months others came. Very severe loss of facial collagen, dyscholia of the gallbladder, gums began to bleed, and the front teeth cracked, I feel some leakage after urination. What is very strange, my FSH and LH border on infertility (1 mIU, 2 mIU / ml), although the penis has a great erection and no testicular atrophy is observed. The loss of collagen in my face peaked six months after I quit dutasteride. I began to observe the loss of eyebrows and eyelashes in a year. I also began to sweat more (although I didn’t sweat much before PFS). This is probably due to the fact that the short duration of dutasteride was not enough to kill my sebaceous glands, and, on the contrary, they increased, in an attempt to compensate for the suppression of their secretion. I am almost 25 years old, before taking dutasteride I was 23 and I looked like 16 years old, many people thought that I was a teenager when they met me. Now I look like a 32 year old heroin addict. This is not easy to accept, especially when everyone in your family genetically looks younger than their years, and now you are no longer one of them. And not even among those who look their age. All my life I had a very narrow social circle, I was lonely, there was almost no sex in my life (5 times, 4 of which with a prostitute). I could not be in communication for a long time, because of this I could not maintain communication with people for a long time, to some extent I am a sociophobe. I have trouble concentrating. I didn’t feel joy in life. Creative activity (music and graffiti) and my outer youth is what made me feel unique, because otherwise I am inferior to others. All my life I dreamed of becoming a musician. Now I feel like my life has come to an end. Please do not write to me that I may have used dutasteride in vain in my situation. I know it.

sorry to hear that, its crazy wha this chemicals are capable of,regarding ur sides how about ur sleep? do you get good sleep?

Hard to believe this shit is still legally manufactured and sold for human consumption.

It’s beyond words.

Sometimes I think it would be better if I used alcohol or heroin continuously for 10 years. Ultimately, the chances for recovery of the body would still be higher.

Reminds me of one of my exes who drank alcohol from the moment she wakes up until the moment she goes to bed for around 15 years in addition to cocaine use. Despite that, she was 25 years older than me yet looked very young, and she even had a higher libido than my hyper-sexual pre-saw libido.

I am sleepy in the middle of the day, but at night I sleep the same as usual.

Sorry that this is a little off topic, but google (and almost all other search engines by extension) appears to have become unfathomably broken in the past year. Trying to search phrases is pointless and the same mix of keywords seems to lead to the same few sites in results no matter how you arrange the words.

What is alarming is that searching for phrases related to drug side-effects or deaths now generally leads to positive reviews and information from sites hosted by industries with a vested interest in whatever drug it is. Commercialization of the internet is practically complete.

Was this diagnosed by a doctor? I know 3 women in my life who had their gallbladder removed within months of starting Yasmin birth control. There were also class action suits about it in the US, but none of them pursued it for whatever reasons they had. Yasmin contains a potently anti-androgenic progestin, drosperinone, and I’ve always wondered how common gallbladder problems were among members of this site and if there is a direct connection in the anti-androgenic effect.

Yes. This has been confirmed by a doctor. I had an ultrasound and I took tests. My gallbladder is irregularly shaped and the flow of bile is poor. Billirubin was 53.8 µmol/l a month ago. Now, while I went around all the doctors, he has already become 71.3 µmol / l. Which is several times higher than the reference values (0-21 µmol/l). Now I started taking choleretics.

My friend, i’m very aware of what you’ve been probably passing trough, but I must insist you to focus on what you have left rather than what you’ve lost. And I don’t mean your life and your loving ones; judging by what you wrote, you luckily don’t seem to suffer from any serious mental or sexual side effects unlike others here, you can continoue your life with relative ease.
Not everything is looks, in fact, I would even argue that vanity is what led us to this disaster; there are many more important things in life, like talent for example, which I doubt this drug will ever take away from you, so don’t let it stop you from ever chasing your dreams. Also, don’t make the common mistake of wasting time lamenting on what you can’t undo, I see others here doing exactly that. It’s not healthy, and will lead you nowhere.
Good luck in your projects, man, i’m sure you will be able to manage it.
