VITAMIN B12 Deficiency & it's symptoms / STOMACH ULCERS

One of the many side effects I have as a result of using this drug, like many others is a deficiency in B12. I looked up the symptoms of a person being deficient in B12; and many of the symptoms are some of the worst side effects I have been having from using Propecia.

One health problem I had, that I am now realizing was also most likely caused from using Propecia is a Stomach Ulcer. There is apparently a link between a deficiency in vitamin B12 and stomach Ulcers. Many of the people on this website have complained about stomach problems. (click on the 3rd link at the bottom and scroll down to the paragraph, Helicobacter pylori and vitamin B12 deficiency.

It appears H Pylori bacteria assists in lowering B12 levels. Does Propecia cause the ulcer and then as a result of the ulcer and lowered B12 levels some of the others symptoms below become present?

Well, I had read one of the most common causes of peptic ulcer is prescription medications. Our friends a Merck were even nice enough to point out the correlation of prescription medications and Ulcers. There direct quote below.

Now lower testosterone levels clearly have some relationship to some of the symptoms below as well, like lack of energy, impaired memory, infertility, muscle atrophy.

Which brings me to the question, Is there a direct relationship between hormone levels and B12? I don’t recall seeing any posts on this board pointing this out, but please point it out if that is the case.

What happens if an individual brings their b12 levels back to a normal range? Do some of these symptoms persist if testosterone levels remain low? I am working to improve my B12 level with monthly shots and supplements. I will report and changes positive or negative in the recovery area.
