I have been using ed meds with my g/f regularly for a while now. This past weekend after using it (about 50-75mgs) and having a couple of drinks before hand, I developed some visual disturbance, like when I closed my left eye I saw a bright white jagged light and had a blind spot in my left eye. This lasted about 20-30 minutes and was quite scary. this had never happened before, just some facial flushing and occasional headache.

Been to my opthalmologist and she said I may have had a migraine and in conjunction with the Viagra this caused the problem. Said my eyes are healthy. Problem is I’ve become very reliant on ed meds and feel like I’m up shits creek right now becasue iI feel I need them for intercourse.

Will speak with my PCP thursday to consult with him. Anybody have something similar happen? Insight?

I have taken Cialis and also tried Viagra as well. I recall reading the side effects on the brochure and it states that visual disturbances are one of the side effects caused. I’m sure that was damn scarey to experience. This is one the main reasons I don’t use these pills very often. I have only used them a handful of times.

Do you use them when having sex at all? I just have become reliant on them after a good amount of time using them…

The time I tried it I got all weird vision, like a blue tint, and I only tried half the smallest dose. It didn’t get me up unfortunately.

Have you tried horny goat weed? It’s basically the same stuff but less potent and dangerous.

Cialis–which I was taking daily, per a doctor’s suggestion, presumably to improve my circulation–once gave me blurry vision that didn’t go away until I slept and woke up the next morning. Oddly, I had taken Cialis for two months until that point, and it had never caused any vision problems.

With meds like Viagra, perhaps it’s possible that a vision-related disturbance can pop up at any time. Just speculating–don’t let that scare you. Obviously, we’re all already risk-averse enough as it is.

My mom takes viagra 3x a day for a lung problem. Her docs are always very clear with her whenever she sees him: “any visual disturbances, you call us immediately”. i would follow up with your doc on this.

I don’t use them very often. Acutally I have only taken them three times. I took cialis twice and tried 1/2 viagra once. I felt nothing on the 1/2 viagra pill. I had really good experiece taking the Cialis, my unit was rock hard. Getting laid felt like a normal movement. The one thing I would note for me, is I still have a loss of sensation when having sex and I didn’t feel any improvement in that area. I did notice it bothered my stomach the second time I took Cialis and I read that is one of the side effects as well.

I think agree with Martin we’re better doing something like Horney goat weed or Yohimbe. I may try the Yohimbe soon.

I am a heavy user of pde5i’s. Viagra is by far the worst one for me of the big 3. Can be sure of a headache and some fatigue on my viagra day, erections are ok but not great.
Cialis is by far and away the best for me, no sides and great erections.

I have yet to experiance any visual disturbances.
