Over on Dr. Healy’s website, he has posted a letter from a derm protesting about the new prescribing rules for isotretinoin.
These include specific warnings about sexual dysfunction, and sign-off from two doctors, amongst other measures.
It is a notable increase in the checks and warnings before prescribing isotretinoin in the UK. This has attracted backlash from a dermatologist, who has written into the British Medical Journal.
