Two cases of stroke associated with the use of finasteride

If anyone wants to slot this into the old thread from 2014 feel free, or anywhere else.
Who here has really looked at their risk factor for thrombosis with all the testing people have done over the years?
These are some tests you might not be that familiar with,
But it might make good sense next time your at the Dr. so you’re aware if there could be a link.

factor v leiden gene mutation
prothrombin 20210 gene mutation
anticardiolipin antibodies
Lupus anticoagulant
^you had one other person mention lupus anticoagulant on here and he tested positive.
I have tested positive as well at times, also positive for some anticardiolipin antibodies.

This also might go hand in hand with small fiber neuropathy according to another study I posted.

[Two cases of stroke associated with the use of finasteride, an approved drug for male-pattern hair loss in Japan].

The Japan Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) has reported 14 cases of thrombosis in patients taking finasteride in Japan; 4 cases of stroke (our 2 cases and 2 reported by PMDA), 6 cases of myocardial infarction, and 4 cases of other thrombotic diseases

To look at the flip side, this is how maddening it all is. One study is saying heart attack, the other is saying cardioprotective.

Antiandrogenic Therapy With Finasteride Attenuates Cardiac Hypertrophy and Left Ventricular Dysfunction
