TRT for 300-400 range

I am wondering what proportion of TotalT 300-400 PAS/PFS/SSRI sufferers go onto TRT for life solely to prevent potential physiological or psychological affects of low T in the long term. (I have no expectation for sexual healing from where I am now and no physiological sides for now.)

I might need to make a decision soon and will welcome any feedback…

I wondered this too, I’ve been low 400s but don’t know if that’s worth it for a 28 year old. Been like this since early 20s

My experience is that unless you are after having a baby TRT is avoided but otherwise docs I have seen have been very eager to put you on TRT.

It is a choice amongst two unpleasant states - living with sides and potential risks of having low T in the long term vs risks with TRT itself (although it seems recent studies portray TRT as relatively safe in terms of cardiovascular heath (I personally do not want to put myself into a life long commitment.)

Another doc was saying ~400 is not too bad.
The protocol it seems is this total T<300 and having ED, fatigue symptoms.
