Danny,
Your going to have to provide more information than that, otherwise no one can help you. Go back to your Dr and request a copy of your blood test. You have a right to get a copy of it. Don’t let them tell you otherwise.

A blood test for WHAT? WHAT HORMONES DID HE TEST?
Without ranges your test result is useless because nobody knows where it falls within the range.
Also, what time was the test taken?
If you aren’t satisfied with his response, find another doctor who will work with you and get retested.
i personally think that is an extreme course of action for not knowing what blood levels you have tested - but if you do it, please let us know how it goes.
Danny,
First of all, you should get your blood tested at 8:00 am. This is critical as this is when a healthy man’s hormones are at their peak levels. Your doctor should have told you this. So you need to get retested.
Also, I’m going to agree with Golf173 on this one. How can you really make a decision about what meds you should take without blood results.
You really should do a little more research, making quick impulsive decisions about what to put in our bodies is what got us all in this mess to begin with. While I understand your theory that since propecia blocks DHT, you think your body is simply deficient of DHT and that DHT injections will resolve your issues.
It is far more comlex than that. If it were that simple, none of us would be here. I had my DHT tested and I fell smack dab in the middle of a healthy range. The drug effects dozens of hormones and proteins. You won’t know what it has done to your body until you test as many hormones as possible. I acutally am deficient in Human Growth Hormone and very likely have hypo thyroid condition.
I had to run several tests to find this out. I was like you when I first found this board. I was ready to take TRT immediately. I wa in a panic about what the drug had done to me. I am glad I didn’t take TRT. It wouldn’t have helped me and may have caused more problems. Thanks to Mew and few others, they convinced me not to do it.
Yes its does but most ppl do wake up early in the morning and goto bed late at night. So the normal values are based upon a normal rythm.
Your testosteorne score of 24 is probably fairly high since the scale usually is around 8to12 - 30to35 or similar. However the test you provided are total testosterone and you need to test for free testosterone and or bioavailable testosterone cause these values can still be low despiste you having high total T.

danny:
total t 24 is very good!
i remember i was on level 12, with no erections whatsoever
i then started on this, after diagnosis with adrenal fatigue, total t 12 free t 0.66, estradiol 0.05:
15 mg hydrocortisone
30 mg dhea
200 mg 7-keto-dhea
10.000 iu vitamin d
b12/folic acid lozenges (was deficient)
What did it do? Less fatigue, improved blood pressure. First few days could have decent sex.
After two weeks i started noticing that when i had sex, i didn’t even have to help my penis staying hard (with my hand). My g/f was satisfied and i could go for 10 minutes!
Anyways, this then diminished and had weak erections again.
Follow up bloodtest revealed this:
total t 20
free t 1.21 (scale 0.24-1.04)
estradiol 0.21 scale 0.01-0.21
So estradiol crept up on me, but look at this: my total t went up, but free t more than doubled! I attribute my good sex to this high number.
So please get this checked! and estradiol also.
So i dropped vitamin d thinking it would make no difference, and dropped 7-keto-dhea and dhea i dosed EOD.
Could have sex but still not good. New labs:
total t 12
free t 0.88
estradiol 0.06
so i thought what the hell, total t dropped massively. I then scratched my head thinking why total t dropped! I then later started again on vitamin d, and at ZRT my total went to 550 again. Unfortunately also my estradiol went up with extra t. DHEA can also convert to e2, but 7-keto-dhea not. I attribute 7-keto-dhea in hindsight to my high free t. Since it does not convert this would be awesome, and then dropping regular DHEA because too much conversion to e2.
So now if i would go back on this protocol i would take:
vitamin d 10.000 iu daily
7-keto-dhea daily
estradiol inhibitor (dim or chrysin or something else)
i took arimidex which made me feel like shit! but my estradiol went from 48 (zrt) to 24 within two weeks and total t went up to 679!!!
So a different e2 inhibitor would work best while keeping free T high.
Moral of the story?
Please get checked for adrenal fatigue, thyroid imbalances, gut imbalances.
For ED please check free T, bioavailable T (better) and estradiol. This will help your sexual function. Especially check vitamin D, everyone is low on this.
As you see it would be possible to get by on a decent T level (500-600) if estradiol is kept in check and free T high.
I think this also all ties in to Adiol G (the higher free T and low estradiol).
Please get tested and let us know, and try some of the above!
unfortunately it looks like your testosterone has dropped significantly, did your doc say anything about this? did you test in the morning or late afternoon?
allpregnanelone cannot yet be tested in conventional labs, only research labs. it will not be available.
I think its too much to read - however it basically talks about androgen supplementation, which have failed for many people who have tried it.
i believe all hormones are eventually converted from cholesterol. btw, its allopregnanolone.
