I recently discovered that Toco 8 has B-Sistrol in it as well.
B-Sistrol is a phytosterol that is found in Saw Palmetto. Here is a link to a study that talks about what is actually in Saw Palmetto:
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/article … o=0.602410
It’s by far the best source regarding the Ins and outs of Saw Palmetto that I have been able to find.
It’s intresting that I found this thread because i am curruntly trying to figure out how risky this Phytosterol is for us guys senstive to 5AR inhibitors. This is what I know so far:
Most PhytoSterols are indeed 5Ar inhibitors.
Saw palmetto contains B-Sistrol which is known to be a 5Ar inhibitor in of its self.
90 percent of the ingredients in Saw Palmetto are fatty acids. Specefic fatty acids that are known 5 AR inhibitors.
Saw p is thought to have such strong 5AR inhibiting effect because of its combination of fatty acids and Phystosterols all in one.
Toco caps from the website wicked sups are advertised as a post cycle threapy and their claimed MOA is that they make the gonads more senstive to LH which helps in recovery after cycles.
Why they contain B-Sistrol I have no clue?
How dangerous B-Sistrol is as a stand alone not combined with fatty acids I don’t know?
It’s intresting that the above poster has mixed reviews on their experience with toco that contains B-Sistrol
But I think the point is this. It’s marked as a hair loss ingredient than we know it’s trouble. Also if you are not in the need of PCT why even take the risk with toco. If the idea is to just take natty T boosters there are so many other options to go with that do not contain B-Sistrol or other known 5 AR inhibitors
