Time for an update from you progesterone guys?

Soooooo hows it going?

JH

Well, for my part:

I am ok. I am a bit better with my anxiety symptoms (but they have always been somewhat tolerable), erections are just about the same than before, but I had a series of one week when I got nocturnal erections every single night, though they were not too hard.

I feel overall a bit better. I overloaded on progesterone at first, and that caused heavy depression, which instantly went away after finding a good, smaller daily dose for myself. If I quit progesterone for 3 days, I have noticeably worse cognitive problems. What I don’t like, is that while on progesterone I have not much idea on how my adrenals are functioning, because brain function is better and there is not an “adrenal burnout” kind of state to be noticed in my brain because of a constant progesterone to allopregnenolone conversion. It might be that progesterone is only a band-aid for me right now, since I am currently not able to make many efforts to heal my adrenals, which in normal circumstances produce the progesterone.

BUT, I have just started Testogel and Tanalbit this week, and because of my hectic studies, I have been up very late and will continue to do that for the weeks to come also (very bad for adrenals). It really is hard to say what is functioning and what is not right now. I will be on Testogel at least the next 3 months, so any progress I make might be due to progesterone, testosterone, candida reduction (Tanalbit) or any other thing I am doing right now.

By the way, I can recommend: Lots of L-theanine and green tea to stabilize cortisol and L-tyrosine/L-methionine to give energy. That at least is a way to get through the days feeling quite good and with a decent amount of energy.

Well, after 2 months on progesterone I have had no real benefit. It has not helped on ED, libido, penis curving or shooting while ejaculating (those are the remaining sides I´m still fighting). The only real improvement is on my muscle contractions in legs which are very low now, I know I have written that a thousand times but it is true.

I can not say anything about brain fog since I beat brain fog more than 1.5 years ago. It is strange but the last 3 days I hav had some sort of twitching in my hands, I associate the twitching with my worst days, and I´m wondering if progesterone is blocking the DHT on me (that would be the worst in my condition). I know that Smitpulitzer says that natural progesteone does not block DHT the way poison-finasteride does (I tend to agree with him) but this little twitching makes me very anxious. I´m being extra careful with progesterone, rubbing it daily a little less than 5 mg.

I´ll keep on progesterone for 1-2 months more to see what happens, and I´ll closely watch my reactions.

any more guys with progesterone updates?
