Hi everyone! I’m 21 years old and took finasteride for 23 days before stopping on 13 Dec 2010. My current symptoms are weak erections, depression. I feel miserable in the mornings and peak in the evening. (I am nocturnal btw - I sleep during the day.) My hands and legs feel cold, which I read is a symptom of hypothyroidism.
I took a blood test on 30 Jan (morning, fasting):
TSH: 4.88 (0.27-4.2 miU/ml)
FSH: 2.22 (1-12 mIU/ml)
LH:4.26 (1.7-8.6 miU/ml)
Prolactin: 5.65 (4.04-15.2 ng/ml)
Testosterone 18.06 (9.9-27.8 nmol/L)
Estradiol 35.16 (7.63-42.6 pg/ml)
Free Testosterone 13.03 (5.88-18.35)
Note that my TSH was high. So I met an endo and she told me to take a thyroid (blood) test on 2 Feb (evening, without fasting).
The results are:
Tetraiodo Thyronine (T4): 7.50 (5.1-14.1 micro g/dl)
TSH: 2.53 (0.27-4.2 miU/ml)
Anti Thyroglobulin Antibody 13.20 (Upto 115 IU/ml)
Does the fact that I took the above test in the evening without fasting invalidate the results. What do you think of my other numbers?
