Thread for short term propecia users (~2 months) that crashed after quitting

I would like to narrow the respondees to this thread to those with the following history:

  • Aged 20-30 years
  • Took Propecia
  • Less than 2 months
  • Experienced little or no side effects on the drug
  • Crashed within 1 month of quitting
  • Has experienced or continues to experience many of the reported side effects listed on this site (not just sexual)
  • Has never used TRT or other hormone enhancers

In doing this, I hope to achieve a more focused discussion on our progress / issues, but this is also because I am concerned that it is too easy to read reports from people who’s situations are actually totally different to our own. In my opinion, it is better for us sub-set of individuals to discuss our progress, options, recovery methods together rather than to the person who may have taken SP for 2 years and didn’t crash. I think this is a logical approach, so I really hope we can pull together and maybe find a “new” commonality amongst ourselves to further understand our condition.

It will also be interesting to see if respondees are at a very similar or identicle stage of recovery. If not, then maybe everyone is affected randomly, but I just can’t help but feel that user history should play more of a part in our analysis. We will learn new things. Let’s keep the reports short and punchy, preferably in the same format as below so that we can easily analyse the information:

  • Scale used 1-10, 1 being the worst case and 10 being recovered to pre-fin levels.
  • If you do not experience please put N/A or 10.
  • In order to document whether symptoms are improving, worsening or staying to same, please state an ‘I’ for improving, a ‘W’ for worsening and an ‘X’ for stagnating or staying the same
  • Briefly explain your recovery protocol

James, i’d say dont push yourself too hard on the exercise, especially as you’re struggling with sleep, i was being too hard on my body myself and i had some sort of adrenal crash or something, i could barely move for about 3 weeks. Another thing, there’s alot of debate about whether or not regular masturbation is helpful, i think it is in theory, but be aware of the effects, personally was doing it everyday for a long time just to prove to myself that i still could, but it hink with my hormones being in the fragile state that they were, i drove my prolactin very high. You release prolactin everytime you ejaculate and at undesirables levels it suppresses testosterone, if you notice that you’re very lethargic or feel in any way worse after masturbation it might be worth laying off it for a while and taking something to keep prolactin down. High prolactin seems to be a common problem amongst us.
Thanks for the thread.
