This may sound weird, but I could use some masturbation advice

I took fin for a month. I also used a ketoconazole shampoo for about 9 months which may have worsened my condition (emphasis on may, I’m not certain).

I masturbate at least once a day to make sure my penis is getting fresh blood flow. Sometimes, I genuinely feel horny, but it usually feels like more of a mechanical process.

When I masturbate, it can either be with porn/other visual stimulus (like pictures) or with fantasies/imagination. While I can still feel that a girl is attractive, seeing an attractive stranger isn’t going to make me feel aroused anymore.

A shampoo cannot give you effects throughout your whole body. You can stop being concerned about that.

If you are masturbating too hard or too often, could you damage something in your penis? Possibly. The penis is not a machine made of metal. It’s an organ that has to be treated nicely. Men have broken their penis when sex has been too rough.

Yes you and millions of other men want to have a penis that gets hard. Testosterone and a balance of other hormones is necessary for erections. Have you checked all that out, being that you are a PFS sufferer?

I’ve personally been skeptical of symptoms being worsened by ketoconazole shampoo (which has been found to have some anti-androgenic effects). Then again, I probably wouldn’t have believed anything that happened to me if I didn’t experience it myself. I don’t think the shampoo made me any worse, but I have to keep an open mind.

It is possible to break your penis during masturbation, but that’s more of a “too hard” than “too often” thing. You can beat your meat as often as you want as long as you treat it right.

I’ve had blood tests done. In my first couple weeks off of fin, my SHBG was pretty high. I had another test done in late July and the only thing that was off was my Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (I apparently have a hypoactive thyroid). However, I’ve been on meds that have made my TSH levels normal with little if any improvement in symptoms.
