This is truly sad and I pray for Daniel’s soul, as well as his family.

Its very very important we do not speculate on what happened at the study and what he was told. The word ‘maybe’ should not be used in a time like this as it simply creates speculation which ends up as fact and creates stories which may not be true. Lets wait please.
I posted this story on a youtube channel that promotes Finasteride.
The guy who runs the channel tried to claim Daniel had mental health issues when he knows nothing about him.
I hope his family make clear to the world that Finasteride was the cause of his death.
We are not all ambulance chasers or mentally ill hypochondriacs, most people with PFS never had any major health problems before they took the drug.
This is very sad news.
I feel it is important that his body undergo medical examination autopsy to visual inspect all hormonal organs in the body. We need to rule out such things. We should all tell our next of kin that in the cause of our death that we undergo an autopsy paying special attention to areas of the body which are responsible for the production and metabolism of hormones.
Very sad news. I would be willing to donate my brain for scientific research into PFS. I am only sorry it has come to this where we are seeing ‘the end’ as one of those real and possible options. Lets try to keep as strong as possible.
Daniel was most likely a type-A personality given his academic achievements. Feeling like a failure due to this poison despite it being no fault of ones own is very fucking hard to take.
I don’t know how many people are going to have to die before these white coats will stop pointing the psychosomatic finger.
I wonder how many suicides are directly because of the suicidal ideation brought on by the poison fucking with the way your brain functions or how many are due to it seeming rational after having your life destroyed and very little hope for the future.

Obviously they won’t because that would be admitting liability. Sincey Merck won’t either compensate victims or fund research unless legally compelled, has anyone got information about the legal action taking place? I read that the number of men seeking to sue Merck is rising but when is action actually happening?

wtf? In the time since the lawsuits were first announced, I could have assaulted a Merck exec, been convicted and freed and from prison by now. And they’re still not close? Is anyone going to actually confirm this on the forum? Pissed off with this tiptoeing around the subject, and this subterfuge that surrounds everything until it goes to court. If it’s still years away then we need to start escalating protests regardless.
Merck should be made to donate a year’s profits from the drug given it’s been on the market for over fifteen years. That would be $400 million. It’s almost laughable to suggest that of course in this fucking oligarchy society but no way would $4 million suffice.

Um suicide. Does it matter what method he used? The only people who know (his family) will probably not want to talk about it and have the details brought up again.
It’s mind blowing how much damage this drug causes. Yet not enough to finish the job. Also the medical community brushing it all off as psychological. So outrageous. I am the same age as Daniel with kids and a family depending on me. So this really got to me. The difference would be life insurance. If I die from this naturally at least my family can survive. If I take my own life because of this they get jacked. At any rate, I can relate. This is hell on earth. No one should ever have to go through this for cosmetic reasons.
