The Link Between Finasteride, Angiogenesis and Erectile Dysfunction.

As we know from studies already posted, finasteride down regulates VEGF:

VEGF is a key protein in the process of angiogenesis, the development of new blood vessels from old ones.

Intercavernosal injection VEGF was shown to reverse erectile dysfunction in rats.

It’s not hard to join the dots.

So the question is, should we be doing things to try and increase angiogenesis? and possibly aid our recovery? I think so.

Here is a link to a study on herbal extracts which have shown effects on angiogenesis:

firstly if u believe that is the cause of ur ED issue u need to go of prove it, have it pier reviewed then published. Pubmed keep cumin up with all kinds of experiments which helps no one. Anyone who has published on pubmed in this forum? nope. Pointless post.

Oh man didn’t i tell you? Yeah, i got a million dollar grant and an honorary PhD, so i took my electron microscope down to my local research laboratory and put this whole thing together with a team of scientists. You’ll be able to read all about it as it’s being published next month in People Magazine.

Seriously Danny? Who is going to search the medical literature if we don’t? Someone is trying to research for the benefit of all of us and you attack him? Dr. Jacobs wasnt considering epigenetics until one of us presented him with a paper that suggests it could be an issue in PFS. And what does publishing medical papers ourselves have to do with anything? No good deed goes unpunished I guess.

Thanks for your research, Mario.

The only pointless thing I see here is you telling him he needs to do a clinical study and get in a peer reviewed publication for just doing a little cross-referencing. Come on man…
