The 'flat standard dosage' question

Does anyone think that while on fiinasteride they could have averted the disaster by lowering the dose?

I consistently took 1.25mg + and had sexual sides plus tiredness and apathy. I quit a couple times without issue, then went on again and was lax with dosage, maybe 1.5mg. Got all the sides and a bad crash.

From what I see on hairloss forums guys who scale down the dose to .5mg or less and maybe take it every other day find their sides diminish. I know this shouldn’t make a difference in theory but perhaps the slightly lowered rate of DHT blockage exerts an effect.

I only took over than 1mg very rarely, and was on something like 0.5mg much more than I was on 1mg, the funny thing is the crash I had seems to have came after I was on very small dosages. I took it every 2-3 days most of the time too.

Is there any chance the drugs from India (inhouse) could have been dodgy? as in the finasteride distributed unevenly in the pills?

taking it every 2-3 days was likely an unwise choice - as the half-life is less then a day, your hormones were probably going up and down when using it in that fashion. it is meant to be taken every day.
