Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to bring to your attention the website hrbr.ie This site contains serious misinformation regarding a medical treatment for male pattern baldness called Finasteride. This misinformation is luring gullible men into a deathly trap and really needs to be corrected.
For example under the heading Update on Finasteride we have:
“Less than 2% if men report decreased libido, semen volume and erectile difficulties which disappear on stopping Finasteride and usually resolve on continuous use”
As a doctor, regularly called upon to help men with Post Finasteride Syndrome, I can emphatically say that this is incorrect. The 2% figure comes from a small sample of volunteers used in clinical trials. But when tens of thousands of men started using Fenasteride, as prescribed by clinics like HRBR, the real figures began to emerge.
The statement “which disappear on stopping Finasteride” is likewise incorrect and is not supported by any science. In practise the exact opposite is the case. Post Finasteride Syndrome often ONLY appear after stopping the drug.
The statement “and usually resolve on continuous use” is fictional and not supported by any clinical review nor at all in my experience.
My only interest here is to prevent more men being seriously injured by the use of Finasteride for male pattern baldness. As a consumer program, you are in a very strong position to put the truth out there and to save the sexual lives of many.
Here is a peer review article that I recently wrote on the subject:
