Testosterone low

Hello,

I’m 3 months post-finasteride and experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and deep nostalgia at times. I’m able to manage these symptoms, but it’s a daily struggle… I also have a sort of tinnitus that has calmed down since the beginning. Sometimes I feel a pressure in my ears that’s hard to explain. I’ve also had a clicking sound in my left ear every time I swallow sometimes in the right too, which has been very unpleasant for the past month…

I just had my testosterone tested, and it’s at 220 ng/dl, which is very low for my age (I’m a 29-year-old man). I don’t have any sexual symptoms—only mental ones and these ear-related issues.

I’m wondering whether all these symptoms might actually be due to my low testosterone levels rather than finasteride, and what I could do to raise my levels. Should I consider TRT, or try something else like HCG? If anyone has gone through the same thing or has any insight, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance for your help.

There’s a long history of people doing various things to increase their testosterone level here.

Alas, if people here simply needed more testosterone, then trt would be the cure and we’d all move on.

There’s plenty of posts about trt here to look at if you search. I hope that doesn’t come across as dismissive, I don’t mean it to be.
