I’ve tried to keep a log of my temporary recoveries over the years to try to see if there was any rhyme or reason to it as far as time or supplements go. I feel like I’ve had a fairly decent number of them.
I started a thread awhile ago asking how many temporary recoveries everyone has had or if everyone even gets them, but it got no responses.
I think the most important part that makes it a temporary recovery is the mental aspect. Once you can think and feel clearly, all your senses come back to you and the mind/penis connection is reestablished. During my last few recoveries, I’ve just liked to sit and think and remember how easy the connections used to come to me. Like I would just try to think of the name of every store on my block and where they are located, because while have pfs, I mentally have a much more difficult time recalling things. It’s like they are on the tip of my tongue but i just can’t remember it.
In the past I’ve had them right after taking a multivitamin for the first time, a few months after starting an “anti-fungal” protocol, right after starting a gluten-free diet, and a few months after starting a strict paleo diet. I’ve noticed that after being sick (and I don’t get sick very often at all since pfs) there is a pretty good chance of a temporary recovery. After some heavy drinking and eating of unhealthy foods, there is a generally good feeling in my body and mind for a few days, maybe not a full on temporary recovery, but it feels somewhat nice before crashing again.
