This looks interesting…Might be worth looking at for us who have Fibromyalgia…Suppose to be better than EGCG for erectile dysfunction…Read further…it also seems to be as effective or better than viagra and dilating blood vessels…

Ecklonia Cava Extract (ECE), a polyphenol/phlorotannin rich nutraceutical, is derived from a specific species of brown algae Ecklonia cava. Over 30 million dollars has been spent on research, which has presented intriguing treatment leads, stemming mostly from ECE’s powerful antioxidant function, for much of present-day illness. ECE offers nutritional intervention for fibromyalgia, hypertension, sexual and erectile dysfunction, memory enhancement, relaxation and alertness, deep sleep, allergies, asthma and lung disease, cardiovascular health, arthritis, neuropathy, weight loss, increased muscle mass and obesity, Syndrome X, and diabetes.

ECE Comparable to Viagra[R]

Nitric oxide (NO) dilates blood vessels. After six weeks of ECE treatment, flow-mediated dilation and NO-mediated dilation increased by 60% and 50%, respectively. This means ECE can rejuvenate damaged endothelial cells. This effect was further confirmed in a study on erectile dysfunction (ED). In an eight-week study on 31 men with ED for more than six months, ECE was compared with the drug Viagra[R] in the following parameters: orgasmic function, intercourse satisfaction, overall satisfaction, and erectile dysfunction. ECE scored 87%, 74%, 62%, and 66%, respectively. Viagra[R] scored 27%, 44%, 39%, and 66%, respectively. No side effects were reported.

Neuropathy

The strong lipid and cholesterol scavenging potential of ECE to “scrub” the endothelial lining of plaque in the blood vessels and arteries provides a further additional benefit: reduced vasculitis Vasculitis Definition

Vasculitis refers to a varied group of disorders which all share a common underlying problem of inflammation of a blood vessel or blood vessels. The inflammation may affect any size blood vessel, anywhere in the body. (i.e., vascular inflammation). Increasingly, the scientific literature supports the notion that many forms of nerve pain (“neuropathy”) are caused by nerve pressure, as exerted by swollen, inflamed blood vessels adjacent to the nerves. A recent 40-patient, placebo-controlled, randomized clinical trial randomized clinical trial,
n a clinical study where volunteer participants with comparable characteristics are randomly assigned to different test groups to compare the efficacy of therapies. on neuropathy confirmed ECE’s ability (“NeuralPlus[R]”) to reduce nerve pain by 40% in four weeks of daily dosing, with an 80% response rate.

From what ive read about this its hard to get the “pure” stuff. Loads of fake stuff being sold.
Getting the real stuff at the right price would be sweet though…looks like it would help us

I’m going to order some…Looks Promising…

anonnn1 - Let us know how it works out. I’ve been very interested in foods and supplements with high biological activity. Most of these are well known such as pomegranite, blueberry, green tea, mushrooms (especially white button), cabbage, etc. I’ve also tried some algae known as spirulina. They put it in alot of juice mixtures these days. It also has a ton of nutrients in it. I seem to get some positive mental effects from some of these but haven’t seen too much improvement downstairs. About the best I can say (and I’ll take anything positive these days) is that I’ve started to look normal down there on a regular basis lately. I do believe this is primarily due to my diet as I have restricted my supplements to primarily Vit C & D, and iodine.

Quote from primordialperformance.com/di … sts-2.html

"As a hair loss forumer, this is something that we encounter all the time and help folks with. To be honest, it can get pretty complex, but there are two things that I’m going to recommend to you right off the bat:

  • 10,000 IU a day of Vitamin D3

People that are still taking Fin have managed to restore their libido with it. Keep in mind that Vitamin D3 is anything but a Vitamin–it’s a hormone, and regulates your testosterone levels among many other things.

  • Ecklonia Cava Extract

I recommend this product in particular (Algoran FS):

Give both a few months to work their magic. Going to send you a PM as well if you want further information… "

If I had money to drop, I would probably try this stuff. For those that are going to use it, please keep us posted.

I ordered it. I’ll let you know how it goes.

What one did you get?

I bought both.

I ordered the Algoran-FS. Will post if a miracle occurs.

I,m interested in this one too, but they dont ship international, unless you will buy pounds?

Any updates already?

I bought Ecklonia Cava Extract and have been taking it for about two weeks. It actually came as a powder in a plain zip lock sandwhich bag. No idea if its “real” and I spent almost $300 bucks on it. I bought some empty pills to put it in. Has a very fishy smell to it. No real changes for me though.

wow that sounds shady as hell… more then likley fake… has anyone found the real stuff and seen any kind of improvement?

save your money, see one of the top docs. i tried a similar mega anti-oxident and it did nothing. absolutely nothing.

I’ve been taking Algoran-FS for about 2 weeks now. No miracles (unfortunately). Seems like I can think clearer when I take it. Morning erections seem slightly improved, but hard to say. I’ve been going through some up and down cycles lately (2-3 weeks each) and seem to be in an up cycle, so not sure if it’s related to the Algoran or not. My down cycles have been going to as low as 0-10 % of normal (pde5 inhibitors will just barely work), to 20 - 30 % (Cialas worked for a couple days last time I took it). Price was $52 for a 2 month supply.

Tried the Algoran too for a few weeks with no real results. I hear ya on the “ups and downs”. For a couple days I’ll feel like I’m trying to get better. I’ll try to talk myself into thinking maybe I’ll improve and almost half believe it then I’ll go back to crash level. Yea, cialis is no help for me either during down times. Dick feels small and dead. Depressing…

did anyone have a BAD reaction to this? or was it simply just that it didn’t do anything?

Following bryce’s post, did anyone take it for at least 2 months?
