Sun?

Im in NY too. I made a small recovery in July then I relapsed in fall. I think definately more sun exposure the better. We dont absorb Vit D anymore for some reason. Thats probably gonna be cause us other problems down the road.

It’s probably not coincidental that I crashed in the middle of winter, in a place with less vitamin D exposure than the rest of the planet. Took it six years or so, on and off, never crashed including twice off in the final year, last run was from October - December.

Guys supplementing vitd on fin report sides going away.

Yea, I hate playing “iffy” history. More regrets. Who knows if we would have supplemented Vit D and/or magnesium maybe we wouldnt be in this mess.

I do not think the sun has anything to do with this…There are ppl who live in Florida on here that are suffering…Everyone feels better with sun exposure of course. Lets be realistic please…

try the tanning beds, ask for ones with full spectrum bulbs. Start very small and work up. More likely than not you will find a boost from tanning and the sun but it will be temporary, so taking a weekend trip to the beach will probably help but not forever. I’m one of the people who benefit from the sun and vitamin D supps, although the effect has waned.

I felt no difference from the sun.
I had a job outside and had 8 - 10 hours of sun everyday for 2 months.

I haven’t heard of a single case where someone has recovered using vitamin D. I live in sunny Florida, and my levels were very poor. I took vitamin D and brought myself up to a good level and I still felt terrible. Maybe some people feel better from vitamin D but I am not one of those people.

I take high dose vit d and no changes for me. Both Shippen and Jacobs recommended vit d3 so I’ll continue with it.
