Sick as a dog still but now have something like covid but my old covid test comes back negative
Tight upper chest throat area, coughing my head off, congestion voice is completely gone and throat is raw…Don’t know how bad covid is now had it once back in October 2022 but this shit is awful
Had to finally give in and go to doc today been so sick at night with the head chest stuff…weighed 304lbs!!
How much of a gain is that? Usually you read of weight loss. I gained 100lbs in 9 months myself. J
It’s unbelievable…it’s doubled! Used to be 160lbs…read my posts here…I ran 10ks…kept food journal its not calorie wright but like a fluid or water all over my body…plus 50 other symptoms
Also something crazy is shaving now…takes a damn hour and won’t come off your face…it Bends or something before the razor cut it clean off with one swipe…its like a damn chore now to shave…
Before PFS, I worked out and could compare to Jack Reacher at 6’4" and 240lbs. Now I’m at 340 and cannot lose the pounds, partially/probably due to inaction from extreme fatigue.
My whiskers used to shave easy, now they’re like Steel wool. I let the beard grow until it is unbearable just to avoid the shave battle. Jim
Mine made no difference what I did or didn’t do or eat…it just skyrocketing and I don’t know about u but is not normal fat…hope is gone for me…
But has been for many years…yea most people fall off and look like meth addicts but a quick look at Google finasteride weight gain and many people are going through this with unbelievable crazy body changes from pfs…I
Went to my urologist yesterday first time back since 2016…all he did was laugh at me pretty much and said he had no idea about pfs…
Weigh 306lbs now and testosterone came back at 113…low…I’m afraid to mess with it anymore…
Normal is 197 to 670 also requested the creatinine testing for kidney but has not came back yet
You’re not alone with that. I also gained weight, nearly 100 pounds, and have been unable to shed this even with “exercise and eat right”.
I read so often that PFS has caused weight loss to the point of emaciation, and wonder what causes a clear minority of us to gain?

Everything is normal except low test. Glucose was slightly high at 121 and A1c was 5.9
Also the creatinine was normal at 0.90 range…
Yea there is no way something to do with our particular genes or genetics…I told them I would have to eat 6000 calories a day to weigh that it was a lot fluid but he said he couldn’t give me a fluid pill it was that simple because they don’t know what’s causing it
hey, i know this is an old comment but how are you now? are you still on zyprexa and celexa?
I’m on zyprexa and cymbalta(not celexa). Id say I’m significantly better, I sleep normally, feeling less anxious and in better mood overall. Didn’t really help with ED, but didn’t affect it negatively either so that’s good

What dosage you take of zyprexa? 5mg?
Do you still have flat muscles and dry skin or did it help with those symptoms too?
