Suicide: Can we talk?

Guys-
I’m looking to start a group of men that could meet on a weekly, maybe biweekly time frame. I’d like to meet online and have support meetings using Skype, Google Chat, etc.
I want/need to do it for selfish reasons, as I’ve been thinking of suicide quite often the past two weeks. I know it’s stupid and irrational, but sometimes I lose hope. I think a support group might give us a place to meet and help each other. If you can talk online…let me know…I could use it.

Pm me if you want to set something up.

This is a very very good idea and important…My thoughts are often…omg how shoud this ever get normal again? (but I know it can) This is what I Think…than I only want to die…but I dont want to die, I just want to be normal…want my normal old life back…Tim take my apology. If you realy set something up this will be a wonderfull Idea to help people!

Jorbie, do not despair. Hopefully, over time it is likely things will improve, although it could be a slow process so it may be difficult to tell initially.

I can tell you the first 1 year post-drug may be the most difficult, but you will get through it and come out stronger in the end. Time does seem to heal wounds and our case it can bring improvements in various areas, particularly the mental symptoms/feelings which you are currently dealing with. Don’t beat yourself up over this, rather consider channeling any anger at yourself against the drug company that released the product with insufficient warnings at the time. It’s not our fault, but we can still make a difference.

If you feel the need to talk, we are here for you… and I would urge you to channel your feelings into productive action – legally or via the media – to get this problem even more attention it deserves. We have the PFS Foundation in our corner now as well. Suicide is not the answer, I sincerely hope you take my message to heart and if you need to speak to someone immediately, call a prevention hotline right away.

We all know what you’re going through and have been there, things will get better so hang in there and stay strong.
