I’m not saying its a cure, but, some things that helped me:
Fish oil - 1 twice a day.
iherb.com/Natural-Factors-Rx … tgels/4251
A good B complex with extra B12 - 1 in the morning.
iherb.com/Thorne-Research-B- … Caps/18126
You can add 5-MTHF with the B complex if you want.
iherb.com/Thorne-Research-5- … Caps/18447
This not only helped with my mild depression, but, constant fatigue.
Goodluck
I don’t want to rush you into my idea of the cure for this condition, because it would be premature and uncertain.
However my experience is that “I” had really good improvements in the last times not only on my mood and physical nervousness, but also on sexual sides. I fell autogenic training, by particularly focusing relaxation on the pelvic muscles helped me really a lot. It takes some time, but I at least could feel the imporvements day by day.
There is also a good rationale behind this. What I think about this can be read in my previous messages on other threads.
But this in my opinion cannot be a complete cure in most cases. Neurological healing needs to be boosted. At this time, my opinion is that short recurrent fasting and/or Cerebrolysin are the best options to associate to the practice of autogenic training.
Also, if you masturbate or have sex, do not rush to ejaculation, but take all your time and feel all the sensations, slowly, with relax and with delicate manual stimulation.
Remember this might take some time, depending on the severity of your condition. Imporvements are not guaranteed obviously.
Well I’m far from better but the only real improvements I’ve made so far have pretty much been from food. It’s been a slow change but after a few weeks it was really noticeable.
My diet at the moment mainly consists of
Salmon
Eggs (inc. yellows)
Coconut Oil
Olive oil
Organic butter
Avacado
Vit D (2000 - 4000ui)
Sleep by 10pm (This is the most difficult for me)
I also make sure not to leave it too long between meals and to have some salt each day as well.
I’ve tried other things that made me feel better temporarily but usually felt shit again after a short time.
These have been some of my symptoms over the months.
insomnia
anxiety
depression
memory problems
bad vision
eye floaters
tinnitus
cognitive problems
shakes
back and neck pain
weak joints
sleep apnea
heart palpitations
electrolyte issues
digestive issues
pale stool
dark foamy urine
low cortisol
sexual problems
weight loss
I know not to read into it too much but I also did one of those urinary neurotransmitter metabolite tests and it showed really low GABA.
I also have low cholesterol and have been trying to raise it since it’s so important when it comes to hormones and neurotransmitters.
If you restore GABA some way, as using Xanax low dose for example, many of these symptoms will go away. You dont need to use it for a long time.
Yeah thanks for that bro… I was thinking about taking xanax but decided against it. I’m sick of all meds at this point. Can’t even take nexium anymore without making me sicker. I also tried P5P, L-Glutamine, Taurine and some other stuff to increase gaba but it just gave me more anxiety.
I feel like I’m definitely making good progress again at the moment after stopping everything and making the changes to my diet a couple months ago. My symptoms have decreased a massive amount.
Perhaps it’s redundant to say, but I think it’s worth adding that regular, light exercise also helps on mental issues.
I 100% agree with you. Unfortunately that is one of the things I’ve been unable to do. Everytime I tried to even do light exercise I would be bedridden for the next few days after. If things keep going the way they are though I will try to start doing some exercise again in a month or so and see how my body handles it. I seem to be dealing with a couple things at the moment… Pfs symptoms and adrenal issues.
Has anyone had a good experience with an anti depressant?
Yes, I had a good experience with bupropion… It helped me with the fatigue. Nowadays I have the same energy level that I used to have before finasteride. But all my sides are now way better than they were six months ago, so I don’t really know if it was bupropion or just the time.
