IMO, some of you miss some points here.
1-Fin is known to lower neurosteroids, the same neurosteroids involved in PTSD as an example, and maybe it reduces those neurosteroids to a greater extent (the results from the Neurosteroids conference is clear).
2-I assume most of us got really scared by reading the forum and for a long time, worsening the condition.
3-Our condition has strong analogies to the one of victims of sexual offence (where the offender is Merck in our case).
4-Worst, sexual offender’s victims do not generally end up with physical modifications; we did and this generates more fear.
5-Sexual offender’s victims get PTSD, and it’s the worst PTSD scenario, where victims do take the most time to recover, if this ever occurs. It requires profound intervention.
6-PTSD generates strong body symptoms, normally localized in the offended part of the body.
7-PTSD generates strong cognitive problems.
8-One of the causes of those symptoms is ADRENERGIC HYPERTONE, generating constriction/tension (in our case the pudendal area, impotence)
9-What is the most useful drug in combating the sexual symptoms of PFS? Alpha Blockers from what I know! some people here say that they almost got back to sexual normality under alpha blockers. Am I wrong?
10- What are alpha blockers? α-adrenergic-antagonists!! and what is the most prescribed alpha blocker to ease the symptoms of PTSD? MINIPRESS
11-PTSD generates nervous system hyperactivity too
12-antidepressants do not work on PTSD patients.
13-Hypogonadism can be an additional factor contributing to a lack of healing. IMO it should be treated, but gently.
IMO, Fanjeera is not completely incorrect. But I think that fin modifies a lot of things, then the normal healing process cannot occur because of excessive problems, one being a “PTSD like” condition . My penis doesn’t hurt, didn’t shrink, doesn’t have varicous veins in it because of a PTSD like condition, but because it cannot heal possibly, who knows exactly why. It is obviously all very complicated, and what I wrote was not an attempt to explain everything. But the stress (I think we are at the level of PTSD, where even attenuating the stress doesn’t work to get cured) theory is not completely to be discarded to explain a lack of healing. It could explain worsenings too. Some PTSD patients get worse over time.

PS-PTSD is a condition where memories get dissociated and are being sticked on the workbench. No additional cognitive task is allowed to be processed effectively until the infos in the workbench are extensively processed, and… … accepted
which is obviously very difficult in our situation.
