Strange Issues (Not even started using Fin)

hey guys firstly i would like to state that i am no way connected with the promotion or sale of Fin/Propecia in any way or form.,

Let me tell you my story,
I have been loosing my hair at a slow rate since i was 20 and now i am 27 i thought i would give in to this insecurity and visited my pharmacists,
(let me state that i had been using Miloxidil for one year and had some improvements but not enough)

so i went to my local pharmacists any they prescribed me with Propecia
so me being me i came home that day (1/02/2010) and did some research on the drug, let me begin by saying that their is alot of success stories with propecia but this also comes with the horror stories,
(let me get to the point of this topic)
Now its the 3rd week since my prescription of Propecia has been in my house, Unopened and unsed and i have started to feel some of the side effects and symptoms that i have read on the forums, My libido has dropped , i have not held wood like before and have had server brain fog to the point i was late handing in my work projects…
now i would like to know if these symptoms will dissapear as i have not taken even a single dose of Propecia … and if these effects are mealy a mental reaction of the drug being in my possession then i would like to say that some of you on that used this drug and have the sides could very well be down to a mental reaction, and there could be a light to the end of the tunnel

any feedback would be welcome

Just read through the member stories on this site and the scientific information, see what people are going through.

My true opinion - somone’s cage has been rattled so now we’re going to get a host of nonsense posts like yours aimed at discrediting the site and the valuable work it’s doing to help those who are genuinely suffering from the side effects of this poison…
Ain’t goin to work though -truth will out

I am not here to PRMOTE or Discredit anything, Nor do gain anything from my posts…
I am telling you a true story and sharing my experience with others whom are currently suffering,
so why would you jump to the conclusion that i am trying to discredit this forum,
Our Bodies are Gods creation and they work in mysterious ways why do you find it hard (excuse the pun) believe that i suffered some sides without even taking 1 pill.
I though by sharing this information with you could help as the mind is very powerful

Listen up -
The fact is that you never took Finasteride, therefore your dubious “observations” are of no use to anyone on this site, particularly those of us who are sick and tired of being told, by those who are ignorant of the facts (including some in the medical profession) that “it’s all in the mind”.

You’re not in any way helping those of us who are REALLY suffering from this in fact you’re doing the opposite.
No offense but you may want to consider some more constructive way of occupying your time

Suggesting our issues are psychosomatic is nothing we haven’t heard before, it’s simply ignorance we encounter from people unaware of finasteride’s detrimental capacity. Once you learn to read that argument dies.

Unlike us, you have done nothing of consequence to your body. Because you did not take finasteride you have nothing to offer us. I am preparing to end this discussion. There’s nothing we can help you with, sorry.

Thanks for your input, but it’s really not helpful or valid. Anyone can get pretty much any symptom if they dwell on it, it’s called the placebo effect. Many of the same symptoms finasteride suffers have are also shared by those who simply contrive them into existance through stress, depression, and anxiety. Though we all have the capacity for this, our illness wasn’t caused by a biological reaction to a mental state, but by a drug. I’m not doubting your symptoms weren’t real, but if they were mentally induced then you could have a psychiatrist help you.

Psychiatrists can’t cure cancer patients, they can’t re-attach limbs to amputees, they can’t reverse a stroke, and the same goes for us.

p.s. don’t take your finasteride. That would be stupid.

I’m not sure what this guy’s motive is, but I don’t believe his story. I think he’s just looking to stir the pot here and try to piss some guys off.
Is a reduced T, reduced Sperm count, eye problems, memory problems, bone loss in your head?

Go find yourself a hobby or life or something. You should be asshamed of yourself.

ps, I don’t think anyone believes your message is genuine.

If life wasn’t difficult enough already. There is a point though. Anxeity can kill libido and sex drive. Theoretically being anxious enough can cause the symptoms. However it does seem for something so extreme you would already be predisposed.

Before fin I never had this problem. It seems when I was anxious I would get a hard on. Now after fin anxiety makes me shake and my junk shrivel up. It just goes to show how deeply it has changed me. FOR THE WORSE!!!
