Strange cessation of a side effect

I wanted to throw this out there because its really strange. I have been dealing with PFS for 18 months now, within those 18 months I have had ups and downs , but nothin like this. For 18 months I would constantly be boated and pressure in my lower abdomen, I mean really bloated. Well 2 weeks ago it suddenly just ended and for 2 weeks now my stomach is completely flat. Has anyone experienced this? It is so strange bc people are asking how I lost so much weight, it is very noticeable what has happened to me, this 18 months later.

Has anyone just suddenly lost that disgusting bloated appearance?

wow all these people and not one has experienced this? I am going to take it as a good sign. First time in 18 months I can actually eat anything and not feeling like I was going to burst.

No, buddy, not at all… I’m still bloated… In my case, my face has become rounded, so to speak. I used to have a thin face, just for you to know…

Gmmoura- yeah me too. For 18 months my stomach was enormous and my face fuller. This week two different people asked me why my face is more thin now. This came out of nowhere! This is a crazy syndrome. I’m not kidding, one guy asked me a day later how I lost so much weight

Yeah…my face looks completely different. I had just returned to work after a 2 year leave of absence. My boss pulled me into his office last week and told me I looked completely different, he wanted to know why. Crazy - and sad. I miss the way I used to look. What a fucking awful disease.

Jorbie, have you also been excessively bloated? rounder fuller face? Or did you also thin out, thinner face? This came out of nowhere.

Have you actually lost a few pounds when the bloating disappeared fina?

Luckfax- yeah probably lost about 5-8 lbs. looks like I lost 20 lbs. it’s crazy, I’ve bad this for a day or two but this has been almost 2 weeks. Today I are a large French fry and hamburger and it was like a normal person. Sexual function and dryness have been bad however. Every time I have a bad downswing I follow with a major upswing. Can’t figure this stuff out

Sounds great. I’ve lost a lot of the weight I put on but still have that abdominal bloating, a classic sign of low T so it diminishing should be a good sign even if other areas are worsening. This thing is anything but straightforward as you know.

Yeah, I don’t know why I feel like it’s a good sign when I have has a little worsening in other areas but I do feel like it is. I have also noticed in the last two weeks that in cold temps my hands don’t become icecles like they were for 18 months. Not sure if testosterone is rising, but In a strange way I feel like my metabolism might be speeding up

This is one of the most incredible phenomenons that has happened. For a month now, face looks normal and thin, and my stomach is flat, like washboard abs after looking like a giant fat bloated pig for 18 months. I can eat anything and I feel ok. I had high cortisol so I am assuming my levels have come down

Fina,

Glad to see you continue to experience improvements.

Q: Have you had any recent bloodwork to see if things are improving from an endocrinological perspective? I recall your early posts noted low-range T, low Vit D and high cortisol. It would be great to see a direct relationship between your improvements in side effects and improvements in blood work.

Thanks for updating us.

Hey Ohioguy- yes I had low T, low free T, low vitamin D, and high range cortisol. I am going to schedule some blood work with Dr. Jacobs this week and see what may have changed. I am also noticing increasing warmer body, and my hands can tolerate cold temps, also some small hairs regrowing on my arms and legs

any updates on this?
