Spongiosum deflated

Does anyone notice that their corpus spongiosum doesnt inflate? It seems that only when mine is fully inflated that I am capable of feeling 100%. But it seems so random when it decides to. Does anyone have a good understanding of how that part functions?

Yes I have that too. I think it might be indicative of impaired nerve function. I got the physical change at the same time as I got the other symptoms of PFS. It might be so called soft glans syndrome.

Yup, this is me. The underside of my penis is flat, and my glans rarely engorges completely. I’m hoping to try Cialis soon. Maybe that will help me get fuller erections.

I believe mine is “failure to initiate” glans insufficiency: http://www.sandiegosexualmedicine.com/male-issues/soft-glans-cold-glans-glans-insufficiency-syndrome

I feel the same.

Its interesting that Goldstein wrote this and the spongiosum never even came up in conversation, nor was it addressed in his reports on me.

Oh I’m sure if it isn’t curable it’s at least treatable. It’s just all these feedback loops, up/downregulation and transient versus steady state outcomes which will make it awfully complicated.

Same thing feels dead flat feeling, other days it feels closer to normal and the narrowing goes away along with it when my symptoms fluctuate.
