so if your hair falls out again, does it mean that your androgen receptors are working again?

my question relates to when stopping the propecia, say your hair falls out again at a great clip - should this not mean that your androgen receptors are again responding to DHT? how many people just KEPT their hair (personally, i would love nothing more now than to be bald as a peach).

Different people, different reactions. Some don’t lose their hair anymore, some do but more slowly. I haven’t lost much in 2.5 years off, if any.

If your hair falls out it just means DHT is building up in the scalp.

I was hoping this too, but it’s too simplistic of conclusion. Same experience as Mart, I don’t seem to lose hair anymore either.

Hey guys,

just wondering, do most with PFS have their hairloss stopped and reversed?
I ask this because, i still have ED since taking topical fin for nearly a month, and 1 fin tab a year ago ( SUCKS SO MUCH (as you all i’m sure know), but my hairloss has seemed to have stopped… mind you i’m still trying some treatments (no anti andros or any hormome related stuff), so is it the products working, or the fact i’ve screwed myself up hormonaly and now i lack DHT to lose hair?

thanks guys

In general most of our hair loss has stopped or slowed dramatically. There are a few exceptions. No of us care about hair loss except that we hope more hair loss will mean a small step toward returning to “normal”. But, I don’t think its quite that simple.
