Slight Improvements since quitting

I quit at the end of January, crashed at the end of March, no nocturnal erections/couldn’t keep an erection, wake up two or three times a night.

April 19 I started running at least a mile a day. Within the two weeks following that I started to get erections in my sleep about 70 percent full and my ejaculate started to shoot out again, although it’s still watery. Last night it was rock hard although the head and shaft didn’t expand all the way (It was really strange).

Also, after I quit propecia i noticed that my penis did not get as small as it used to when flaccid (it would now hang or even stick out when my scrotum would tighten up) but in the last week or so it has sometimes started to look like it did before propecia. (I don’t think I just didn’t notice it doing this because I have been obsessing over what it looks like these last few months.)

Has anyone had a similar experience? Could it be an improvement or just increased bloodflow from the running/ heart beating faster?

I’ve been taking ginsa and a multivitamin from gnc since around the end of march. I masturbate two or three times a day. Anything else you want to know just ask.

The reason I am asking is because I want to get a sense of where I am at before I try any serious hormonal stuff to try to reboot my system. It’s so frustrating dealing with this because it seems like it affects everyone differently, so it’s hard for me to guess what progress may look like.

Thanks for any ideas/ suggestions you may have.

It seems like a positive boost from the exercise. Regardless it’s an improvement. If your improving why not keep with the routine now and see how it pans out before resorting to HRT? I do get similar boosts from exercise.

Yeah i second this. Although some people indicate that it might be best to take some action asap if you want to recover. Leaving it too long may make you less likely to heal. That being said, it depends on how long you have taken it, how old you are and how your hormone tests come out. If you are seeing good benefits, i would ride with them for as long as possible.

Just one more thing to bear in mind. I found an interesting comparison between a sprinter and a bodybuilder on a testosterone boosting website. Look at the differences between the two people, who would you think has more testosterone?

It is possible to over train, so watch out. That being said, the benefits from running such as getting the blood flowing and many others could be doing your situation a world of good so i’m not necessarily saying to stop. Just some things to think about i suppose. Good luck

Thanks, I don’t think I’m going to over-train, but it is something to keep in mind.

I guess my concern is that if mild improvements that result from exercise are something that everyone experiences then it really isn’t an improvement, at all, since plenty of guys still are not better after experiencing what I am experiencing, you know?

That being said, I’m gonna see what happens over the next few months or so, since it seems that some guys do heal naturally after some months, although it is unlikely.

I have another question if you guys read this: it seems like most guys talk about having testicles that hang really low, but over the last few months mine have been really tight. Any idea what makes testicles hang low/ get tight, and why we would have different situations if our problems are from the same cause? This is just such a bizarre situation to me, and I’m always analyzing every little thing trying to find some meaning to it.

Thanks for getting back to me, I really appreciate it.

Jack,

Get your blood tested if you havent. I think, perhaps, intervening early may be the smartest thing to do if your blood levels are way off. For example, if you have really low testosterone, it could damage androgen-dependent tissues. Correcting obvious problems with your blood faster may be the wise thing to do (if you have problems)

Im not trying to scare you, but you should take a pro-active stance on your health.

I’ve had both low hanging and high and tight. They’ve settled on high and tight for a long time now, maybe a year. L-Arganine helps to drop them and let the sac relax. In fact it helps the entire body relax, something I have a HUGE problem with since taking fin.

Gaba channels are fried. Mine have their moments. Arginine helps you to mentally relax or more of a phyiscal relaxation?

Both. The body feels relaxed in the mornings after I take it and it definitely increases my REM/dream sleep. The mind feels more at ease while it’s working. I would take it all the time but I’m afraid of building a resistance. I think Mew has posted some similar response on earlier threads.
