Sleep

Hi new member here been off fin 3 months and have all major side effects which are not being helped by a chronic lack of sleep. Seems to be some neurological damage not letting me get more than four hours straight sleep a night every night, then struggling to get one or two more, leavng me feeling poor then next day.

I had problems with waking up early during the latter stages on fin but it was nothing like this, sleeping pills don’t help as I can get to sleep no problem but can’t sustain it. GHB isn’t available where I am so is it worth considering phenibut or something else? I can only recall having six hours continuous sleep once since mid January. :frowning:

I JUST WANT ALL THE FORUM KNOWS THAT IF SOMEONE WHAN GHB COULD STAY IN CONTACT WITH ITALY CAUSE HERE, ALCOVER (GHB) IS SOLD WITH NOT PROBLEMS…I MEAN NOT TOO MANY .

I and others experienced sleep distruption while on and after Finasteride, ie propeciahelp.com/forum/viewt … =7774#7774

What I can tell you is that it took well over 1.5-2 yrs for my sleep to even start becoming somewhat “normal” again, ie not waking up at 3am and 5am in the middle of the night, and starting to get a return of REM sleep (dreaming).

Since DHT mediates Nitric Oxide release (a vital neurotransmitter involved in sleep – scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en … a=N&tab=ws), and Finasteride has been found to inhibit NO synthesis and release by blocking DHT (check Finasteride Studies section)… there may be a connection there.

What I can tell you from personal experience is that when I occasionally take 500mg of l-arginine before bed on an empty stomach, I sleep deeper and wake up feeling more refreshed. L-Arginine is a precursor to NO production in the body.

Give that a shot and see if it helps, cut down on any stimulants (coffee, ginseng etc) and get to bed at the same time every night (not too late, either). With time, sleep does improve.

Not when your working shifts, 2 morning, 2 am, 2 pm shifts thats fucked up, hope someday i will find another cool job.
