I seem to be among the few PFS victims who suffer solely from severely dry skin, rather than any mental or sexual side effects.
Naturally, I’ve tried most every natural, over-the-counter remedy I could get my hands on over the past few years.
A few, like kukui oil, Burt’s Bees’ baby oil, and pure cocoa butter, worked fairly well. But nothing seemed to attack the underlying issue, which is that my oil glands seem to have been permanently damaged, and the result feels like a combination wind and sun burn, particularly on my face after I shave and for about 48 hours thereafter, while the facial hair is growing back.
But a friend recently suggested I try Miaderm…
…which is formulated specifically for the effects of radiation on cancer patients.
I’m happy to report that Miaderm is working better than any other treatment to date, particularly in helping me regain sensitivity in my fingertips and minimizing the burning effect on my face post-shave.
I’d say there’s at least a 40% improvement.
So if anyone else suffers from similar side effects, I’d definitely give Miaderm a try.
