Sidewinder's Endocrine results

MY STORY: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5869

Hi I’m new here, trying to figure out what this horrible drug did to me

Here are my results, I guess my Estrogen is high, any ideas how i can lower it?I feel like the drug tried to turn me into a woman…

I’m going into hospital on tuesday so doctors can attempt to retrieve sperm from my testicles surgically because i dont produce any semen, im starting to think it might be a waste of time and money.

Thyroid stimulating hormone - 0.98 mIU/L (0.27-4.2)
Follicle stim. hormone - 5.7 IU/L (1.5 - 12.4)
Luteienising hormone - 3.8 IU/L (1.7 - 8.6)
Testosterone - 16.9 nmol/l (7.6-31.4)
Prolactin - 228 mIU/L (86 - 324)
17 Beta Oestradiol - 105 pmol/L (44-156)

Any help would be really appreciated

Hi, can anyone tell me if these are normal?/abnormal?

Thanks!

Yet another UK member. This is rather alarming. Propecia isnt even as popular to the general population over here. I believe UK males might be statistically predisposed to PFS.

Anyway, I’ve read your story man. I’m sorry for the trouble you’ve had to live with and i hope the doctors can help you with your fertility issues. You should definately be trying clomid or nolvadex to help in this department - you’d be very surprised how they might help. Proviron also, potentially.

As for your hormone test results. Your oestradiol (estrogen) looks fine - i’ve had readings outside the actual ranges myself. You’re is well within a normal range. Your testosterone is on the low side however, but honestly - your readings aren’t that bad and you shouldn’t have these problems. You’ll have to get more specifics tests done - get DHT measured and get your adrenal hormones measured - cortisol, progesterone, aldosterone etc.

Also, do me a favour and buy a cheap thermometer from boots or tesco and measure your body temperature orally.

Keep us updated.

There does seem to be a disproportionately high number of UK guys on here, but it’s far more likely to be for other reasons.
Chiefly, I’d imagine, would be the high number of guys buying it online and self medicating without supervision.
I doubt we’re all that different genetically from the US or Europe.
I have wondered if environmental factors could play a part, like less sunlight and therefore vit d exposure, but I doubt it.

Do the UK guys have androgenic alopecia statistics according to age ranges for the UK?
